WHAT AGE IS CURIOUS KINGDOM BEST SUITED FOR?

While Playper is fun for all ages, it is generally for kids between the ages of 3-6 (and of course older siblings love building the playset with their younger siblings!).

WHAT COMES IN THE CURIOUS KINGDOM PLAYSET?

The Curious Kingdom playset comes with 45 pieces that assemble quickly to create a castle, 6 characters and multiple accessories. It also includes a sheet of reusable Magic Stickers, a Ye Old Fix-It Shop sticker sheet, some easy instructions and a welcome letter from King Ketchup himself!

HOW DO I USE THE MAGIC STICKER SHEET?

The stickers on the Magic Sticker sheet can be brought to life using the Magic Mirror in the free app. Tap the Magic Mirror to open it, then point it at a sticker, and then ... well, you'll have to see for yourself, but we promise it will be cool!

 

THE CURIOUS KINGDOM APP

DO I NEED THE APP?

The free app is completely optional, but if you'd like to try it out, it can enhance the fun of your child's favorite character by bringing them to life through the Magic Mirror! It allows kids to unlock stories, learn games and discover surprises in the Curious Kingdom app through the magic of Augmented Reality. You can find a direct download link here, or search for “Curious Kingdom" in your app store, scan the toys using the app's Magic Mirror and have fun!

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE APP?

No problem – it’s completely optional. The characters, props, castle and other building pieces are designed to entertain a child for hours -- with or without the app.

HOW DO I FIND THE APP?

It's easy! You can download the app directly here, or go to the App Store/Google Play, search for “Curious Kingdom” and download the app - it's completely free.

HOW TO I TURN ON MY CAMERA PERMISSIONS?

On your Apple device: Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera then find Curious Kingdom and turn it to ON.

On your Android device: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Curious Kingdom > Permissions, then choose the “Camera” permission to enable.

DOES THE APP COST MONEY?

Nope - it's completely on the house ... or should we say the Castle? And we do not offer any in-app purchases, so there’s no ask for any payment at any time.

HOW DO I USE THE AR FEATURE? WHICH TOYS ARE SCANNABLE?

Tap on the Magic Mirror in the app to scan your toys. King Ketchup and Snuffles the Dragon offer full stories and games when scanned, but you'll find other fun surprises when you scan the other characters too! We think half the fun is your child exploring on their own - so encourage them to try looking at all the little details in the castle, inside and out.

HOW DO I USE THE MAGIC STICKERS?

HOW DOES THE AR SCAN WORK?

Just download the app from the app store, load the app, give the app access to your camera, point the camera at the character, and voila!

WHAT ARE PLAYPER TOYS MADE OUT OF?

The Curious Kingdom and other toys are made from PlayperBoard® -- a plastic-free and recyclable material.

WHAT IS PLAYPERBOARD®?

PlayperBoard® is a sturdy, high-quality, durable and thick cardboard-based material used in every Playper toy. It's recyclable and has a soft, luxurious feel to it.

IS IT DURABLE?

You bet! PlayperBoard® can withstand the normal wear and tear that comes with being a preschooler's favorite toy. But, because it is biodegradable, it's not indestructible. We pride ourselves on making toys that WON’T last forever; if Playper toys were as long-lasting as plastic, it would also eventually be as long-lasting in a landfill.

ARE PLAYPER TOYS MADE FROM POST-CONSUMER MATERIAL?

While Playper isn't (yet!) made from 100% recycled material, it is 100% recyclable. We are currently making efforts to source post-consumer material that meets our continuously growing goals of sustainability and responsible practices. Research shows that kids learn best through play - and like most parents, it's something our founders have learned through years of experience. So the goal is, how do we successfully entertain kids while sneaking in some fun learning along the way? Our founders -- all three who are still kinda kids themselves -- found some great ways.
